Doug has no righ to talk

You haven't posted since July....
Anyway what have we been up to.
I got a weekend off without even asking for it and we decided to go camping. It was absolutely beautiful. I would have posted pictures of our little trip but I got our camera out to take some and the batteries were dead. It was so cold that night that we ended up sleeping in the back of the jeep, which wasn't all that comfortable but at least I could feel my toes in the morning.
Last week we took the BMW out for a little trip and decided to hit up the "Red Iguana" because it was on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives", and we were disappointed. We have decided to try one more place we saw on the show before we come to the conclusion Guy is a liar. We'll let you know how that goes.
Really we're not exciting people and that is why there hasn't been any posts.
I still work for the man at Depot and Chris fills out a trillion applications a day.
We still love teaching the sunbeams and have one little boy who reminds us of Aaron.
See like I said, we are boring.
Maybe you'll think twice next time before asking for another post.
(The pictures are old if you couldn't tell. Just found them chillin on the laptop)

July so far

On the third my sweetie turned the big 33! We went to breakfast and walked around Provo Center Street for the Freedom Festival and just enjoyed each others company.

Having a colitis attack. Can you tell how much he loves them? This was the day after the Fourth when we party hartied. For the Fourth of July I worked until about nine that night came home ate some leftovers and watched the neighbor across the street set off fireworks until Doug and Rheanna joined us. We then went inside and played Electronic Life for a few hours. They brought some Strawberry shortcake for dessert and that was pretty much my fourth. We love Doug and Rheanna when they come for playtime. Chris' day was a bit more eventful, he was able to go to the Freedom Festival Parade in Provo and hang out with his family earlier in the day while I worked.

My handsome husband receiving his Diploma from his Captain.
(Yesterday, July 9th)

Giving the commencement speech. I took so many pictures of him and in not one was he looking at the camera or had his eyes open. Although he did look up. He did so great it was a wonderful speech I wish I would have taken my video camera but I don't think too much ahead of time. He was voted by his class to give it and it was a good decision. I cannot tell you how great it was, you should have been there. And in true Chris fashion he had people laughing.

His two new best buddies aka "brothers" Miranda and Weight. They go by last names. They'll soon all be bonded by ink.

He got two extra rewards. One for being class leader and one for making the Directors List. Which I believe, only three people got. The Directors List is for those who scored 90 or higher on all tests and quizzes. My sweetie is such a smarty pants. There is one giant gold star missing in this picture because the Captain forgot it. I'm so proud of him. Yes, they gave him the knife as a reward.

My handsome husband and me...the proud wifey.

I've ruined his life!

Check on the parents blog soon for pictures of D.J and Chelseas wedding but first let me splain, no let me summarize how I ruined my sweethearts life.

Friday we arrived at the Greenhouse for the wedding, right before the ceremony started I realized that the zipper on my dress separated (No more candy for me) Chris looked at it tried to get it to go down and back up with no luck, it was stuck. As soon as the actual ceremony was over we ran home and I changed. On the way back Chris asked if I would drive and I told him, "No, you can" so we left. On the road Tiff calls me and asks if we've left because they are going to start taking pictures so I tell Chris to speed and he tells me "No, I don't speed". We're getting closer and I push on his knee so he'll go a little faster then let go, not thirty seconds later we pass a cop car who pulls out and flips his lights on (We weren't going that fast Uncle Jeff, don't be angry) anyway Officer Hoopie comes up and asks for Chris' license. "I don't have it Sir." I originally drove to the wedding and made him drive back. We are about 500 feet from the Greenhouse where the wedding was, Chris has just one final to take in three days and I'm about in tears. I try to convince Chris to tell him why but he just, "No Sir, Yes Sir, Thank you for my ticket Sir" and we were off, no we didn't make it for pictures. Hopefully everything will be okay he called his instructor the next day who was golfing and he is taking his final as I type. I'm positive he will still graduate but I have never felt so guilty in my life.

In my defense to make myself feel better, mom saw my dress was torn an hour before the wedding started and didn't say anything, we also went back to pick up the card my parents left and finally my husband is really strong and I couldn't have pushed his knee down if he didn't want me to.

Alas, I still feel guilty and know it is all my fault. Hopefully there will be pictures soon of the new marriage where the wife hasn't ruined the husbands life yet.

Doings

The kittens absolutely love Chris and love crawling all over him.

How can you resist this face?
Chris is doing great in school and it's hard to believe he is almost done. Graduation is July 9th. He gets along great with all his fellow cadets and instructors. He likes to tease some of the instructors and will end up doing push ups for it. He is a great class leader and loves going to school. He comes home beat up sometimes but I'm sure he wouldn't trade it for anything.
I've been a volunteering fool. Not sure why really, we all know I'm not a nice person. Most of it has been with kids which is even more bizarre because I hate kids, they're stupid. Anyway I've done three family days with the Military where the parents are in counseling because their spouse just got back from war so we take the kids and build things. I've also gone fishing with mentally and physically disabled kids. That was fun because some kids would get frustrated quick that they weren't catching anything so we would distract them and someone would grab a fish from the farm, hook it on the end of the line, and toss it out into the lake. It was awesome to see how excited the kids would get. The most rewarding thing for me thus far was last Fri I did "Relay for Life" my shift was 12-3 am. you all know how I'm so good at staying awake past ten o'clock. I basically sped walked if I even tried to jog my pants would fall down because I threw Chris' sweat pants on (twas a chilly night) Although I had no walking buddy and my brain couldn't function for more than five mins at a time it was a good thing. I wasn't able to raise any money because our Internet was down. But I did it for my family members and three friends at work. Not much else to say.
