I don't hoard

15 years ago Aunt Syd and Phil had taken Jenni and I to 3rd Street Prominade and I bought these glasses , or it was a gift, I don't recall. I have bought many sunglasses since. None of them compare to these.
They have experienced life with me. Been on two continents, in six countries, and visited at least ten states. (Driven through a lot more, though I'm only counting places I've stayed more than a day or two) And they drive my husband crazy. Because they are scratched and one ear piece is crooked. I can't part with them.
I have given up trying to purchase a new pair.
(Yep. Thuggin it out!)
I found these at work. They sat in the lost and found for the required designated time after which I thoroughly disinfected them and gave them a try. I do not love them, but the lens are scratch free and they cover my whole eye so they have some good qualities. If only I could combine the two sunglasses.

Oh and the quote from the last post was not for people to feel sorry for us. I thought it was hilarious.

Ta ding

Mocha chip cupcakes with chocolate sour cream frosting
I didn't even get to taste one.

So Chris went back to the Doc and they are just keeping an eye on his liver for now. That's okay. Although he was having colitis attacks the last few days and I could see it effect his liver. The yellowish hue to his skin and the yellow eyes tipped me off.
I found this and thought, "How appropriate" I couldn't help but laugh and agree.

CHALLENGES
"I expected times like this - but I never thought they'd be so bad, so long, and so frequent."

How we spent Labor Day

Well I got up early and went to work then I went to meet Chris
He went to race cars with his friends Josh and Rocco.
Rocco races cars all the time and he let Josh and Chris take one of his cars and have some fun.
The Dynamic Duo
I missed the first four races. Chris was disqualified from the first three because he went off course.
(Couldn't get a clear picture)
They did pretty good considering neither had ever raced and the car they were racing was stock, it was not modified in anyway.
They were pretty funny. Yelling out directions to each other. Pilot and navigator.
I went on a few runs. Chris took me on one and I thought he was cruising, but apparently he took it easy because I was in the car. That didn't last. On each of Joshs' and Chris' last run four of us crammed into the tiny car; Josh his sister, Chris and I. Josh slid into a stall trying not to go off course and then ran over two cones. Chris amazingly did his best time and didn't hit any cones when we were all in there. I'm guessing it was his thug tunes that won the race for him.

I am so angry with myself. I had an awesome video of Chris' first race when I got up there. He was cruising along and near the end he spun out, doing a 540, it was awesome, I couldn't stop laughing and you could hear the announcer say, "Chris Mahana taking the scenic route." I'm angry because after it downloaded everything from the card was automatically deleted. Now I can't find the video that I KNOW downloaded. I am so sad about it. I will keep looking because it really is a good video. Josh said he's been in a rollover and he was more scared when they spun out.
