It was my birthday

Last week Chris wanted to carve pumpkins. This is what we ended up with. He did the wolf I did the scary mummy. I think they turned out pretty awesome, even though they only lasted the one night because it was too cold, and we all know what happens when it gets too cold. Shrivelage!
My sweetheart saved his lunch money and took me out on a hot date for my birthday to La Caille this was the drive up from the gates.
Sorry the picture quality isn't great. I was using my cell phone.
We decided we want that tree when we grow up.
Reminiscent of the Jacob and Jenni picture at the Getty years ago.
"Monster Le Fang" lightly rub his tusks for wealth and health. We both took some of that luck
(my favorite is his little bow tie)
My birthday cake!
It was a fancy shmancy dinner with rose shaped butter delicious food and a hot date that wanted to start a fight when he learned it was a...gasp FRENCH restaurant, that we probably won't ever spend so much on a meal again but it was a great night with a great guy.
I love my husband!

My Hero

He came riding in on a white horse
(As he recalls)

Yesterday my sweet husband decided he would read up on strokes in his CPR book for some reason.
It was a good thing he did.
A guy came running in Maverick yesterday yelling, "Does anyone here know CPR?" Chris said he did and followed him out.
An older lady was having a stroke and Chris took charge. He made sure someone called 911 and then proceeded to take care of the woman and the situation in general.
A bystander tried her hand at heroism but could not find a pulse to no avail. Chris assured her she had one but her heart rate was only about 15 beats per minute. The ambulance from SLC arrived right away and had a train horn on it and showed it off trying to get in the parking lot (Chris' station is the busiest in the company, so it was crowded) because this idiot and his car were blocking the way in. Chris' said his ears were still ringing by the time he got home hours later.
The paramedics called back later saying the lady was alive when they handed her over to the ER but that was the last they knew. Lehi paramedics showed up ten minutes after SLC left, Chris told the SLC paramedic that when he called and they said she definitely would have died if she had to wait for them. Way to go Lehi.
Just a few days earlier Chris saved the day but we can't talk about it due to possible legal issues. Just know this when I asked the hero for comments he replied with,

"We're going to need a bigger boat, we're going to need a bigger boat!"

Delta Trip

Chris and I took a trip to visit his brother who lives two hours away so we could watch the REDSKINS and cowboys rival game. (Which we won by the way)
We enjoyed our suckers on the ride down and Chris may have had a drink or two.
We found this really old school we wanted to explore. But it said, "No Trespassing"
That didn't stop us. As Chris says, "No cop, No stop!"
I like the "SCHOoL"
The culprit with the lion he now wishes that he stole. You see the small window behind him, where the glass is missing, that is where he climbed through the first time.
Really good cops can think like the criminals right?
I went in this way and as soon as I saw the dead black bird on the ground I promptly turned my little law breaking body around and headed out.
I'm guessing this is where they burned the bad students!
The other way Chris gained access to the building. The entire time he was down exploring the basement I was standing out back by some little barn praying he didn't cut himself on some nasty sharp object. I don't know when he had his last Tetanus shot.
It almost looked like someone wanted to fix up at one point.
What the rest of the town looked like. Beautiful. We looked for but could not find the dumpster Chris played in as a child.
Ok I would NEVER want to live there and YES I know my Halloween music is the best.
