Check on the parents blog soon for pictures of D.J and Chelseas wedding but first let me splain, no let me summarize how I ruined my sweethearts life.
Friday we arrived at the Greenhouse for the wedding, right before the ceremony started I realized that the zipper on my dress separated (No more candy for me) Chris looked at it tried to get it to go down and back up with no luck, it was stuck. As soon as the actual ceremony was over we ran home and I changed. On the way back Chris asked if I would drive and I told him, "No, you can" so we left. On the road Tiff calls me and asks if we've left because they are going to start taking pictures so I tell Chris to speed and he tells me "No, I don't speed". We're getting closer and I push on his knee so he'll go a little faster then let go, not thirty seconds later we pass a cop car who pulls out and flips his lights on (We weren't going that fast Uncle Jeff, don't be angry) anyway Officer Hoopie comes up and asks for Chris' license. "I don't have it Sir." I originally drove to the wedding and made him drive back. We are about 500 feet from the Greenhouse where the wedding was, Chris has just one final to take in three days and I'm about in tears. I try to convince Chris to tell him why but he just, "No Sir, Yes Sir, Thank you for my ticket Sir" and we were off, no we didn't make it for pictures. Hopefully everything will be okay he called his instructor the next day who was golfing and he is taking his final as I type. I'm positive he will still graduate but I have never felt so guilty in my life.
In my defense to make myself feel better, mom saw my dress was torn an hour before the wedding started and didn't say anything, we also went back to pick up the card my parents left and finally my husband is really strong and I couldn't have pushed his knee down if he didn't want me to.
Alas, I still feel guilty and know it is all my fault. Hopefully there will be pictures soon of the new marriage where the wife hasn't ruined the husbands life yet.

Ah Aim, I feel your pain. Similiar to your experience, I'm not in Jeff and Michele's pictures either. I had hosted their post-temple luncheon. There were so many people at all the houses I had to run back to my place in Santa Monica to clean up, change and get back for pictures. Phil and I didn't make it in time. The night before I believe you and Jenni spent the night with me. I was so tired driving home I was struggling to stay awake. Got pulled over for a little weave (forgive me April... they lived). The police officer gave me a break when he saw you two little girls in the car sleeping and was convinced I was only tired and not imbibing. I survived and Chris will too. You make his life better I'm sure. BTW- you MUST come to one of my Fireworks party!
Oh, and did you see my polar bear video?????
I guess I was sleeping and thats why I don't remember that story, but I'll tell you what having sleeping kids in the car is a bonus, we never get stopped for random inspections it's great.
You haven't ruined his life its just part of being married and I'm sure that there is more then one cop there that has their own tickets.
Daniel just read it and said he feels Chris' pain.
You could NEVER ruin his life!
The fact that he has you in his life is blessing enough!
I can't tell you how proud of both of you I am! I am so glad Chris recognized your uniqueness-your beauty and brains! I was concerned you would marry someone that couldn't/wouldn't appreciate you.
I know how smart Chris is from the facts above! I am confident he WILL pass his exam and be an outstanding officer. You really deserve each other and I love you very much!
