First off I need to vent a bit.
This has nothing to do with Candidate Tim James' comments but...They hired me a lot attendant who immigrated from Mexico who doesn't speak a lot of English. That's fine, he is here LEGALLY and is just looking for a better life. I have no problems. But when it impedes on my job duties looking for him all the time because he is not where he is supposed to be or doing what is supposed to be. Or me having to put my work aside to find someone to put their work aside so they can translate for me what I need this man to do it gets a little frustrating. Now I'm no racist but I about lost it the other day when I was talking to one of the guys who had been translating for me and I found out this lot attendant has lived here for 15 years!!! I get more than just a little bugged that this man still cannot communicate with me smoothly and gets all excited when I use the few Spanish words I know to try and get my point across and he tells me "very good" AGH! Sorry. He's not stupid he just doesn't want to learn English I guess. Once again I have nothing wrong with you wanting to come live here and if you don't speak English but are learning and trying I'm more that happy to help and I'm more than patient. I work with a few people who immigrated here LEGALLY and wanted to learn the language and we get along wonderfully I consider them good friends but why can't this man be more like them? Ahem... I'm done now.
My little green house is doing awesome. Thanks for asking!
Some "Brownie Cream-Cheese Bites" I made the other day. I think they taste better the following day, as long as you stored them in an airtight container.
Oh I almost forgot. I have to go to girls camp this year. Anyone have any good activity ideas you remember doing at camp and liked? I need help.

Legal, learn the language and don't break the law and I have no problems.
I want the recipe for those browines they look yummy. What's the theme for girls camp?
I am afraid that I am actually racist, so I'll bite my tongue and not say anything about that issue... I also can't offer any advice on Girls Camp, as I remember despising every second of it... So yeah, on a positive note - your Brownie cream cheese bites look delish. Cream cheese makes everything better.
I will ask Erin if she has any ideas for you. She is the YW President and before that she was the camp director so she's gone to camp like the last 3 years or something. The brownies do look yummy and I am glad your green house is thriving.
I swear Martha Stewart better keep looking over her shoulder because she has some serious competition. You amaze me.
Having Spanish in-laws I feel free to speak my mind. I'm with you, Aimee, and so is my little spanish mother-in-law (although after 50 some years in America most people still have a hard time understanding her- but she DOES speak English). He probably speaks better English than he's letting on and I'm quite sure he understands it. When in Rome....
Garden looking mah-va-lus.
Brownies - I think you MUST post the recipe! MUST!!!
