Let me start by apologizing if any of you heard a song of ours called "The Way I Am" by Ingrid M something. If you heard it I'm sorry if not don't worry about it. Not sure how it got on our playlist.
I digress.
I've wanted to make jam for a few years now and last Monday I finally did.
My favorite. Strawberry, I'm salivating just looking at the pictures.
Didn't make quite as much as I had hoped for. Nine and a half jars doesn't last very long.
I've been slaving away in the garden. You really can't see how many tulips are starting to pop up out of the ground but I'm excited to see them bloom. I'm a little bummed though because after "patching" the lawn and putting new garden soil down (not pictured) I can't really do anything else now until after the frost. Unless....I start building the garden boxes. Hurray for me.
I've really been getting into the holidays lately. It all started with me buying themed holiday earrings for my sunbeams and now I just get excited for a holiday. I don't really own any St. Pattys day decor so I improvised and used my Halloween cauldron as a pot of gold. They used to be leprechauns on the pot. (You can tell by the hats)
Did I mention the shamrock shaped chocolate dipped espresso cookies I skillfully crafted?

You've done what I always have wnated to do. Make Jam. It looks fantastic.
You can come help me on my yard the kids and the dog keep getting in the way.
I totally applaud your domesticity. The jam, gardening holiday decor - all awesome. Be careful though, it can be a slippery slope into Scrapbooking or bow making.
Already failed at scrapbooking and bows and me don't mix
The jam looks yummy! Good for you. I have wanted to make some strawberry peach jam but haven't got to it yet. Also just to let you know your comment did post on my blog this time.
Whew! I'm exhausted just reading this entry! Good job Girl;)
And the jam was as tasty as it looks. You ARE a domestic goddess... who knew? I want to be you when I grow up.
