Just the 2 of us

Nothing super duper exciting has been going on in our humble abode.
I talked to the CEO of Home Depot a couple of weeks ago and he thought I had such a marvelous idea he gave my store $1,000 dollars to play with.  He should have just given it to me.  I even had my picture on Home Depot inter office website.  (Where was my phone call then girl?)  And now for all of those who have been asking if I'm going to loose my job? Ha ha ha.  UM...no.  They closed all the "Expo" and little sister stores some of which I didn't even know we owned.  Expo was like a high end decorating store that never made money when the economy was good and they were dragging us down.  Only 6 people out of the 3,500 people employed by Home Depot in Utah lost their job and they were offered other positions.  That and my store would fall apart if I wasn't there.  Right girl :) They couldn't let me go if they wanted to.  You see I'm a red head and we make up less than three percent of the worlds population and that would just be discrimination.
I was called to be  a Relief Society teacher.  That's funny.  Me, teaching.  Oh well, they will soon learn the error of their ways.  Unfortunately I taught my first lesson today and a lot of people, including the Stake Relief Society president said I did great.  Another sister said, "you have a gift to teach."  I wondered if they were listening.  I was sweating so bad I had to keep my arms down.  Anywho...
Chris is still on the job hunt. It was hard to find a job that would work around his school schedule before and right now it's downright impossible.  Keep praying for him.  He's itching to go back to school.  It starts back up again in about two weeks and he is so excited to get back to learning.  He has not yet received a church calling.  They tried to give him one and he said he would do it but can't because of his school schedule.  It was funny they gave him, well tried to give him the calling they did, because prior they asked him three or four times what his school schedule was like and then they gave him something that falls right in the middle of it.  Oh well, his time will soon come.

He should talk to Rob. His work is hiring and I think they work around school schedules. I dont know what kind of job Chris wants but he can check it out if he wants.
