I call this...

His "Polyfro"
I forgot he had those contacts. I also forgot he likes to not tell me when he puts them in and finds it funny to open the door really fast when I get home at 11:00 at night. Always startles me and I have to look away real quick.
This is just air drying after a shower with no brush. I love it!

Sept...

So what happened to us? I guess I just didn't make time to post.
(no need to judge my face or closet that doesn't shut but can you tell how long his hair is getting)
We both had some minor surgery. I had a wisdom tooth pulled. They gave me laughing gas, which I did not find funny at all and didn't knock me out which was cool cause I could feel it but no pain. Chris had a gum graft done. He is part zombie now because of the cadaver they obviously used for the graft. (No receding gum line some breakdown in the lining or some nonsense like that)

I had some wicked mosquito bites this year. As you can tell by my left foot they all got really swollen. What you don't really notice is my permanently swollen right pinkie toe from me breaking it on Jetts shin. (That's a different story)

Chris and I had one last hurah this past weekend and went to his uncles cabin up "9 Mile" These were the horses we rode. Meet Booger and Bre. Chris got to ride Booger, who lives up to her name. She wouldn't listen to Chris but on the way back he was able to ride Ace whom he really liked, the saddle was softer too. That is his cousin Bailey who is so darn cute.

I enjoyed sitting on the old nasty butt engulfing couch eating licorice and finishing "The Help" now I can go see the movie.

Deciding the stirrups were going to be too short.

This is a cabin Butch Cassidy and his crew would ride to when running from the law. It was pretty awesome I just wish better care was taken of it (it's pretty much a dump right now)

Doing his best pouty girl.

Enjoy

My friend Amanda is an amazing photographer who was finally able to take some pictures she and I have been planning for a few months. I wanted something vintage and fun. I got what I asked for. Amanda is so fun to "play" with. She was easy going and was so excited because she has had people ask to do vintage pictures but never REALLY do them like we did. My sweet husband was such a good sport about it and so dang handsome.
Her sister did my hair and make up (because we all know I don't know how) It was so stinking fun.
I really love him that much.
Typical us not being serious when asked to do something.
So we went shoeless (and tie-less) because someone's wife forgot to put them in the car. But I think it worked out better that way. Don't you?

And my personal consummate (adjective not the verb :)
I even made the lapel pin but my large shoulder covered it.
In every picture there is genuine "vintage" articles of clothing. ALL of my clothing in the couple pictures is from the 40's (even the little flower earrings and slip underneath) and my bracelet was my Granny Harwards. Chris' hat belong to Grandpa Kasch's dad, and the head scarf in my "Rosie" pic is from the 40's as well.
Now I have some pretty awesome pictures to hang on my wall!
That was only a very few of what she took. You can come over and see the rest if you want.

Doug made me cry

He took my Bed Buddy far far away
We will always have Paris (literally)
I will miss her lots!

So I thought I would throw in some Cali trip pictures since I just now downloaded them on my computer today.
Mom prepping us for the wigs she will no doubt wear in the future. When she has no cognitive control over what she wears, and this is what her kids pick to make themselves laugh.

See sometimes they love me

Isn't that precious. (I think that may be what I would looks like drunk)

I had to be in the one with the Princess I always associated with (only because of the red hair. she was not my favorite princess. Eric...? please)

She is smiling because she is choking me.

Yep I had to keep my eyes close pretty much all of the ride. Motion sickness (she's a whore)

He really did want to be there with me. I promise! (see him holding my hand)

Every now and then this is how I find these two. Having an "Avengers" (cartoon) marathon.

Date

I like dating my husband.
(I'd like to think I don't always look bald but I run hot and thus the hair gets pulled up and back)

He is so stinking fun. We decided (well I did, because I make the decisions :) that we would go to our first Major League Soccer game.
(Great seat selection. Lot of action on our end and side of the field)

We were an hour late and missed the entire first half. To be honest we were on time but I brought the wrong card to verify our tickets and we had to run home. I was pretty mad at myself but Chri let me know all was well. What did we know about soccer anyhow?Well...Nothing (I wanted a soccer for dummies before we went but failed to do that too)
(Trying a new soccer hair style. Getting in touch with his Latin roots.)

Turns out it we didn't miss a whole lot. It was 0-0 when we got there, we arrived during half time. Apparently Chri and I are big soccer fans. He was yelling and we jumped out of our seats on more than one occasion. REAL ended up smokin the other team 4-0. It was pretty awesome.
After the game they had fireworks in honor of Pioneer Day. That makes for 6 amazing professional firework shows this year for me, not to mention all the cool aerial's the neighborhood lit this year.
And then instead of opening the street for the masses they crammed all 19 thousand plus of us on the road like cattle until the fire marshal cleared ground zero. My husband did defend my honor and threaten to kill the drunk man after he rammed me, he even got an offer from the man standing next to him for assistance in said felony.

Busy Relaxing

So for now I only have phone pictures. I haven't downloaded any from my camera yet but you'll get a good sneak peek at what I've been up to as of the last time I posted.
I was lucky enough to go to CA and visit mi familia and while there Jett and I were the only two brave enough to go on the "Tower of Terror" it was awesome. Even if I did have to tell him to open his eyes.

My Auntie Syd took me to an amazing Tim Burton exhibit. He is disturbed and fascinating and I love him even more after going.

There was a pretty sweet street lamp display that I found mesmerizing. I wanted to pull out a Gene Kelly move but knew before hand that I don't posses his grace.

I got to play with the awesomest (yes it's a real word) niece and nephew, whom you can see between Avalons legs.

I went to the Stadium of Fire with Sir Sexy himself and enjoyed me some Brad Paisley and the best firework/concussion bombs ever. Oh and we were blessed to also see David Archuletta for the second time in one year. (Lucky I know)

And sadly (I may or may not have cried a bit) but after 2.5 years and 30 kids we were released as sunbeam teachers. I have to say it's nice to be loved. When they released us the lady in front of me turned around and said, "Best Sunbeam teachers ever" and turns out the Bishop has never had such a fight put of from the Primary Presidency when they release someone. I guess everyone was angry at the bishopric. Even the ward clerk asked the Bishop, "What are you guys doing?" One of the kids turned to Chris and said, "No why?" I even held it together when after we told them one little girl turned around with her lip out and frowny face then just hugged me.
Now...I am a Mia Maid advisor. I have no comment on that as of yet.

Unisex?

A week ago Sat my Home Depot was in the OremFest parade.
It was pretty fun. We didn't have a lot of employees to accompany the "float" it will be better planned next year. (I was not in charge by the way)
I got to haul Homer around in the work truck.
...and try not to run over the marching band in front of me.
If you didn't notice from the previous pictures I brought the kids and the husband along. Here we are waiting for them to call our number so we can go be the life of the party.

About a month or two ago I was on my way into the ladies room when I noticed a man walking out of one of the stalls. I did a double take went out looked at the door to make sure I wasn't confused after using the same work bathroom for over 7 years and decided I was not wrong. He said they were taking for ever to clean the mens room and he didn't feel like using a tree out front. Whatever. Today I was walking in there once again and there is another man there washing his hands. (Janitors were not cleaning the mens room this time.) I backed out checked the door and sat on the bench waiting for him to leave. My manager couldn't stop laughing because all he saw was me backing out of the restroom really slow. I figured the absence of a urinal may have been his first clue but...we'll chalk it up to old age perhaps?

Oh and OremFest had some pretty awesome fireworks. Too bad I ran out of time before all the concussion bombs went off.
