Enjoy

My friend Amanda is an amazing photographer who was finally able to take some pictures she and I have been planning for a few months. I wanted something vintage and fun. I got what I asked for. Amanda is so fun to "play" with. She was easy going and was so excited because she has had people ask to do vintage pictures but never REALLY do them like we did. My sweet husband was such a good sport about it and so dang handsome.
Her sister did my hair and make up (because we all know I don't know how) It was so stinking fun.
I really love him that much.
Typical us not being serious when asked to do something.
So we went shoeless (and tie-less) because someone's wife forgot to put them in the car. But I think it worked out better that way. Don't you?

And my personal consummate (adjective not the verb :)
I even made the lapel pin but my large shoulder covered it.
In every picture there is genuine "vintage" articles of clothing. ALL of my clothing in the couple pictures is from the 40's (even the little flower earrings and slip underneath) and my bracelet was my Granny Harwards. Chris' hat belong to Grandpa Kasch's dad, and the head scarf in my "Rosie" pic is from the 40's as well.
Now I have some pretty awesome pictures to hang on my wall!
That was only a very few of what she took. You can come over and see the rest if you want.

The real Aimee at last! And yes, Chris is up there too. Love that boy, he knew exactly what he was getting and I was worried you might never find one smart enough!

Your absolutely beautiful in every one, just different from what we are programmed to think about. I'm so delighted you did this. If you can spare a copy like you sent to Syd - it would REALLY give me bragging rights.
Love to you both, Grandma

Those are pretty rad pics. I'm really impressed. Very creative you guys, but now I think you should do something a little more nerdy like...characters out the goonies. I'll be Chunk.

I love these!!! You guys look so cute. Chris is a good sport, there is no chance I could get Val to do that. I love the 40's look but have no idea how I could do it. You definitely can though. :)

Aimee, that is unbelievably cool! You are more Rosie the Riviter than Rosie was. What a great shot. The others are also really good, but Rosie tops them all.
