Sorry I don't know how to put the pictures into a cute collage thing. So you still have to look at them one at a time. Ok, moving on.
A cute little old lady at work said I was so nice and helpful that she was going to share a secret family recipe called "Peach of a Pie" As you guessed it's a peach pie with a meringue topping. It was yummy but a little runny. (We may...MAY see if I can improve on it. Then again, I may never try it again)
My beautiful wedding ring has been getting the crap beat out of it at work for the last five years and it was making me sad. So I decided not to wear it to work anymore after the diamond became very loose in it. I had talked about getting a ring made out of tungsten carbide, which is what Chris' is made out of, and it is super strong and doesn't scratch. Well while I talked about it my sweet husband found one on ebay for $14 bones. I love it. It is so sturdy. It's a wee bit loose but hey now creepy gross men at work will know I'm taken (not like that ever stops the creepy gross ones)
Look look. Don't my tulips look awesome. You can also kind of see my bleeding heart coming back bigger and better.

I made a couple of small simple (simple being the key word) for our Easter table. Let me tell you, the hyacinths smell incredible!
Since Chris and I were alone this Easter we didn't make the traditional lamb (my first year without it) Chris and I love Chow Ciao so we made ourselves a Fabio meal. Prime rib steak and loaded mashed potatoes. As we sat down I realized we had no vegetables...oh well, maybe next time.
I was in charge of the steak which smelled awesome but tasted...eh. Chris said it was great I thought it could have been bloodier :) I like my cow with the bell still on. Chris was in charge of the potatoes and they were so so good, (Not healthy by any means. But I figure we skipped all the Easter candy so we just made up for it with dinner.)
I taught Pops Sunday school class while he was in Tucson and I made my very first cake balls! Banana flavored. Chris and I (Pops had one when he got home and I think he would agree) They were pretty rich but the 10 year olds seemed to have loved them. I was a bit nervous about teaching his class but those kids are so smart and they love to participate, which is a huge change from the Young Womens. Well, the participating part. It's like pulling teeth sometime to get the girls to answer questions.
This was our dessert. Make sure when it says to add instant pudding mix you verify the box size. The top layer was way too sticky and rich I scrapped half of mine off. But otherwise it was great and the nice touch with the strawberry was all me.
Oh don't worry all these pictures of highly fattening food I don't make all the time. We are not diabetic and haven't gained any weight. We still love our fruits and veggies.

You guys are cute and I miss your faces.
I gained 5 lbs reading your post. Thanks so much.
P.S. I would agree- hyacinths are incredibly fragrant. I miss the Utah lilacs.
Can I please hire you to be my personal chef? Looks so yummy!
