How lucky am I?

I was headed to the temple earlier today when I was informed it was closed for cleaning. My immediate thought was, "Crap, well there goes that plan."

That was soon pushed out of my mind by, "You dummy. You have FOUR temples within 15 min of where you live."

So I was off to the Oguirrh Mountain.

It's amazing to me that on the way up I see one temple and on the way down, (going home a different route) I see two different ones. How lucky am I? Most people have to plan day trips and spoiled me just needs a free hour or two.

My husband makes me laugh everyday, even if I am trying to be angry.

I apologize in advance for the picture quality. I forgot my camera but for being a "cheap" phone it didn't do too bad.

I went down to Cedar last weekend to witness James graduate to second lieutenant and receive his bachelors in Athletic Training to which he got to sit on the stand because he was the best out of the bunch.

I have been wanting to go back to school for sometime and it just reaffirmed my desire, then depressed me because of my lack of funds.

This girl is solid as a rock. I want to be like her when I grow up.

I made blackberry jam today. Once again I didn't plan the coordinating shirt but it was meant to be I suppose. I let mom help like she used to let me help, "Watching is helping"

Oh and I told her I would let her do the dishes.

Mom calls this my Greta Garbo pose, although I don't suppose she made her own jam.

"I want to be let alone."

Well...

Chris' hair is getting longer which sometimes bothers him and he wants it out of his face,he doesn't always want to wear a hat either. It's not quite long enough to put in one central ponytail so we made do with 10 smaller ones.

(He's not angry, maybe he's trying to intimidate the camera with the curled lip. Who knows?)

I made these delicious "Cookies & Cream Cheese cup-cake" things the other day. They're rich and so not healthy but as the wrapper shows, they make one very happy. Chris happily proclaimed "They are my new most favorite treat ever!"

Because Mom has been doing awesome on her diet I felt bad eating something so delicious in front of her that the following week I produced a healthy "Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake with Blueberries" On this treat Chris proclaimed, "...sorry sweetie it is gross, I threw it away" I personally didn't get a piece but the parents and the kids really liked it so I suppose it was a success.

Um...nothing new with me by the way.

Six Days a week I look like this

This is after I smoothed my hair down and wiped most of the sweat off of my face.

I go lift weights at the gym and come home and do some insane cardio where I strip down and feel like I am going to die. I feel like I have more energy and am extremely pooped all at the same time. But I need to get those abs to match my husbands. He's a pretty humble guy so he will never show them off but trust me....damnation! (I've quite the cursing game)

Oh and Jenni because I know you noticed and will probably comment. The closet door is open because when they replaced them I can no longer shut them without it coming off track and making me angry. Yes, I have brought it up with the landlord. Need I say more?

3 years and still going strong

Happy Anniversary to us.

So this is a "Party Day" picture. I didn't have any really of the actual "marriage" day.

This is one of the few pictures I liked, and we were just messing around. I wasn't happy with my photographer for the wedding, she was nice, but....if I could afford to get our pictures done tomorrow, and if it wouldn't be so weird because it's only been three years I totally would do it again. I think that would have to be the only thing that I would change about our "party day", a better, much better, photographer.

anyway...

I am so lucky to be married to such a great guy, and I'm glad we are stuck with each other for eternity. It's going to be awesome!

What a sweet guy

Although we decided not to get each other anything for Valentines Day I woke up to four dozen roses in the bathroom with some candy (that has yet to be eaten)

Don't judge the flowers to harshly they are a few days old here. But boy did they make our bathroom smell great.

I felt bad for not getting Chris anything, he said it was ok because Valentines is a "girl holiday" still...we went out and he picked out an item his man crush designed.

Which he promptly put to good use by committing flower assault and slicing some of my beautiful roses to show me how sharp it is. He already has dates planned for his next survival trip with Bear.

Don't let the crazy look in his eyes frighten you either.
