Anniversary

Yesterday was our one year "Party Day" anniversary.  Hurray for us!  I would have put up pictures from our day but I don't have the knowledge on how to get them from my disk to the blog.  Yes I am not so smart when it comes to computers.  That and I didn't try very hard to figure it out.  Anyway....
My sweet husband is currently taking his final for his first block of school so you get an old picture of him.  Yes ladies I know he is sexy but he is mine!
And you get this of me.  Our computer makes me an artist.
We saved some money over the past year and were able to go to the "Transiberian Orchestra"  Good thing Chris is a member of the fan club because we got our tickets at a third of the price, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to go.  It was even better than last year.  It is hard to describe how great it is unless you have been there.  If you want good details call Chris.  They have awesome pyrotechnics, they make it snow inside, they play great Christmas music and they having dueling pianos.  Also how could I forget, they played a little Led Zepplin and "O Fortuna"  Simply put...Marvelous

I know you weren't wondering but I don't care

No I am not pregnant.  For those of you who read the comment on the Risser page and called, commented or otherwise text me.  Who expects an April Fools Joke in Oct.  Genius!  This is me and my pretty smile.  I went to do my duty as an American and vote on Halloween because for some reason in my head I wouldn't be able to today. (Didn't even work)  Anyhow I stood in line for and hour and a half to go up to the desk and be told my name address and info are all in the computer and correct but...although I registered with plenty of time I wasn't put in in time to vote early.  So they have me fill out a Provisional Ballot and vote.  I get a status tracker for my ballot that says, "...to receive the status of you provisional ballot.  Please allow two weeks after the election for this information to be available."  So why check the status two weeks after the election if it counts great if not..what am I going to do about it?
My handsome feller is doing great in school always has great scores on his tests and is doing marvelous all around in class and working hard.  I now know a lot of Utahs 10 code and I know more 10-96's than I ever realized.
This is the birthday cake Chris made for me.  It was great and he rearranged the candles maybe six times so they were centered.  It was the first time I had a birthday cake literally light up the room.  For Halloween we went to the Lehi Homestead carved some awesome pumpkins you can see on their blog and we handed out candy while the parents and Carline took Jett and Matix trick or treating.  Enola is too cool and went to a friends house.  They came home and got  ready for bed started winding down so Chris and I went home.  He started to watch a Heman episode and I was asleep by ten.  Very exciting I know.  Pretty much that's it.  No baby countdown not yet at least.

Birthdays and Pumpkins

Chris and I had a night off together, he didn't have school and I didn't have to close. So we decided to carve our pumpkins. We were just so excited to have time to play that we weren't thinking that carving them that early in advance might not be so great for them. All done ( And I'm not sure why they are out of order. I do not have the patience to fix them either )
Performing surgery after I cut the nose off.
His scary pumpkin
Concentrating hard. Notice the tongue
Shrinkage. It happens when it's cold. Yeah that's tape on my pirate, to keep his nose and eye on. We couldn't save the eye. It was a risky operation.
We bought more pumpkins. So there will be fresh ones on our doorstep come Halloween night.

The Blog hates me. It will not let me post any of my birthday pictures. I will try again some other time. My sweet husband wanted to take me out to breakfast but since I woke up three hours earlier than him I ate. So he took me to lunch instead. It was delicious, Olive Garden. Then we ran some errands and he went to school so I....swept and did dishes :) He also made me a delectable chocolate cake with a yummy frosting creation and we had some family show up. All in all it was a great day. Oh and to make it better unlike the previous two years I didn't have to work.

For Jenni

Because I doubt the rest of you really care. You are welcome to look anyhow.
Here Jen quit bugging me gosh!I finally have somewhere to put Einstein. We were going to buy a slip cover for the couch but we just couldn't bring ourselves to cover the beautiful flowers. That and they weren't free.
Our kitchen with NO counter space. Tigger watches over the orange bowl.
Pops bought Chris this Chuck Norris poster. "Chuck Norris doesn't read books he just stares them down until he gets the information he wants."
Our camode area.
So I didn't feel like tidying up for you. The bed was made isn't that enough? Our dresser is also our desk.

They Grow Up So Fast

His first day of school was on Monday.I would say, "Doesn't he look so grown up?" But he looks a lot younger all clean shaven. So he goes to school Mon thru Fri 5:30-10:00 and Sat from 8-5. So since I usually am off work by seven I will be pretty bored. I mean you can only, well I can only tolerate the gym for so long. My plans....get a library card. I would learn to cook but since all we can afford is ramen and that my friends needs no improvement learning to cook will be postponed. The apartment is nice and a place to call our own. I'll put pictures up next week. I'm sure I'll have plenty of free time to do the blog.
