This was on our trip back from California last year. Yeah it took awhile to post it but I've been busy, want to fight me? Anyway sorry it's not so steady if you look closely it is because I'm driving too :) Now kids you can only do this if your at least 23 and going 75 mph. And remember safety first, notice Chris IS buckled up!

A short novel. By Aimee Benson

Look at what I found messing around on the computer. A beautiful picture of my beautiful sister Tiffany

And this one of us.
I'm still working on getting the pictures of my car off of Pops phone. But here is what happened for those of you who asked. I had the right of way going forward and a sweet older man turned left in front of me ( He says he didn't see me till too late. Which is obvious now. Understandable with how bright it was outside and the color of my car) So I took a sharp right turn to avoid being hit, which was possibly a dumb decision if someone would have actually been turning right, but then again I may not have swerved in such a case, yes now I'm rambling. On with the good stuff....So we hit. If you were to look at my car it almost looks like I hit something head on if you look closer it seems that his tire basically drove over my hood. He was driving a F 250 and when I saw that we were going to crash I thought it was Pops and I was very unhappy about the whole thing until I saw the tailgate at which point I started to giggle like a school girl with glee upon realizing it wasn't him. Not really I sat there thinking what else could go wrong. (oh much much more we'd come to find out :) The cop said he has never seen a car so smushed and the people not get "hurt" ( It hurt but neither of us had to leave in an ambulance) He also said he has never seen a car hit so hard that the whole oil container / casing thing just dropped right out. The insurance adjuster called to tell me my car was a "total loss". you think? Talking with him he too was surprised I wasn't hurt because he said in all his years he has never seen a car hit so hard that the transmission put a dent in the back on my engine. Or something along those line, kind of stopped listening at some point. I got lucky. Thank Heavenly Father
Stay tuned to your favorite local Aimee rambling for updates on the wedding shenanigan.

My dead car

As some of you know my car was totaled last week and if I can figure out how to get pictures off of pops cell phone I'll post some. But can I just tell you I HATE rentals. Mine is an ugly PT Cruiser ( sorry if you like those vehicles) and it smells like cat pee and there are stains in the seats. Gross! Can I also complain that driving an automatic after driving a manual for so long is frustrating every time you put the clutch in to shift.

Aimee primping...

Aimee was testing out her hair in curlers for when she gets married. I believe she ended up taking them out before her hair was dry. Her hair is just too thick and heavy (oh so sad I hate you ;)) it gave her a headache, that happens if your head is only use to ponytails. Again there is my little midget looking very comfortable with his Auntie holding him.
